/Postal stationery/

Postal stationery is a stationery item, such as a stamped envelope, letter sheet, postal card, lettercard, aerogram or wrapper, with an imprinted stamp or inscription indicating that a specific rate of postage or related service has been prepaid. It does not, however, include any postcard or envelope without a pre-printed stamp.

Stamped envelopes

are envelopes issued postal authority with a printed or embossed indicium indicating the prepayment of postage.

The postage stamp imprinted on the envelope can reproduce image of already issued stamp (usually from definitive issue) or to have original image and to not be issued separately from such envelope. An illustration can be on the envelope address side in addition to postage stamp.

Postal cards

are postal stationery issued postal authority with an imprinted stamp or indicium signifying the prepayment of postage.
